Our Place Always Pan Review

Woman with the Our Place Always Pan in the kitchen.

When the Our Place Always Pan came out, we saw it all over Instagram. Every big influencer was using it and promoting it before the holidays. And yes, I was influenced and bought it. So, after 3+ months of using it, the question is, is this trendy pan worth buying?

Yes. Yes, it is.

I’m not actually sure what I did before purchasing the Always Pan. I use this pan at least once a day, typically twice. It replaced our previous ceramic non-stick pan, one I wasn’t quite sure was safe and didn’t do nearly everything this pan can do.

The reason I use this pan so much is because it can do so much. I use it to sauté, steam, boil, fry, sear and more. Its steam insert is sort of genius, and it comes with a ladle that fits right on the handle. Sounds small, but it’s not. It’s awesome.

My favorite things to cook in the pan include my daily morning eggs, pasta dishes, stir fry — honestly nearly everything we make is made in this pan, including my go-to weeknight dinners.

Other Reasons I Love This Piece of Cookware

In addition to how well it performs, here are a few other reasons I recommend the Always Pan:

  • It’s safe. This pan is a non-toxic, non-stick pan with a ceramic coating made without potentially toxic materials like PFOAs, PTFEs, other PFAs, lead, cadmium, toxic metals, and nanoparticles.
  • It’s cute. Does it matter? Yeah, it does. My blue pan makes me happy when I pull it out to cook something.
  • It creates less mess. This pan is easier to clean than any I’ve ever owned. Even those times when I feel like it’s going to be a tough clean up, it just isn’t.

However, this pan isn’t a replacement for all of my other cookware. I’ve read review of people saying this, yet I still use my other cookware a lot. I just use this more as my everyday pan. I don’t think it replaces everything else.

One more note, and it’s a small thing, but don’t put the wooden ladle in your dishwasher. We did, since we put all of our wooden spoons in the dishwasher, and it warped big time.

Hope this helps those of you who’ve asked if the Always Pan is worth purchasing. If you can’t tell, I’m pretty happy I with it!

Writing more soon!

Do you have a reading goal for 2022? The past two Do you have a reading goal for 2022? The past two years I’ve read about a book a week, hitting 52 books in 2020 and even more this year. I can happily say this goal is no longer a tough one for me, but a new habit and hobby that bring so much joy to my life. Part of that is this community, so thank you all! I’ll continue reading (and posting about it) just as much next year, but I’ll be focused less on quantity and more on quality. I’m excited to see where another year of reading takes me.

I’d love to hear what your plans for reading are in 2022! And watch for a post on my favorite books of 2021 coming soon!
