How to Organize Accessories

This weekend I organized my closet shelves where I keep all of my favorite accessories: sunglasses, scarves, clutches and some of my favorite style books. These are truly my favorite things, so it gives me so much joy to see them displayed in an organized way. Here are the pieces I’ve chosen to organize my beloved accessories:

Sunglasses

One thing we added this weekend is new storage for my sunglasses. I love my sunglasses, especially since I’ve found all of the inexpensive (but stylish) pairs on Amazon. Since then, I’ve needed a place to keep them in an orderly fashion. When I saw Grace Atwood dismay hers in her new Charlston apartment, I new these storage pieces would be the best solution. My favorite Amazon sunglasses included this amazing set that I just purchased for summer.

Clutches

Who doesn’t love a cute clutch? These small purses are some of my favorite accessories but can be tough to keep in order because they’re so small. When I found this organizer, it was a game changer. Not only could I keep my clutches neatly together, I could easily see them and use them as decor. Win, win, win.

And while they aren’t clutches, I love displaying my new Breck and Grier straw totes on the top shelf. They add such a fun summer look to my shelves and couldn’t

Scarves

You all known I love my DESEDA silk scarves. Since DESEDA scarves come in beautiful black linen envelope, they are easy to organize. I use the same acrylic organizer I use for my clutches to sort these linen envelopes. My book with scarf styling ideas fits neatly in the front section.

Bows

Recently, I found the best small business to buy high quality bows. I have my Grace and Grandeur bows clipped to the necklaces my girls made for me for Mother’s Day in kindergarten. It’s the perfect way to keep them unwrinkled and they are too beautiful not to display.

I think accessories might just be my favorite thing to organize. What’s yours?

Do you have a reading goal for 2022? The past two Do you have a reading goal for 2022? The past two years I’ve read about a book a week, hitting 52 books in 2020 and even more this year. I can happily say this goal is no longer a tough one for me, but a new habit and hobby that bring so much joy to my life. Part of that is this community, so thank you all! I’ll continue reading (and posting about it) just as much next year, but I’ll be focused less on quantity and more on quality. I’m excited to see where another year of reading takes me.

I’d love to hear what your plans for reading are in 2022! And watch for a post on my favorite books of 2021 coming soon!
